Dalhousie Community Kindergarten is a publicly funded community school. For more than 20 years we have been providing students from many Calgary communities with an enriched learning environment based on the Alberta Education kindergarten curriculum of studies.

At Dalhousie Community Kindergarten we recognize that each child learns differently and we therefore provide a supportive, engaging environment with activities and experiences that can be tailored to a child's individual learning style. We are proud to offer both Kindergarten and Junior Kindergarten programs.

Our program highlights include:

• A strong academic program that builds a solid foundation for Grade 1.
• A small class size with a maximum of 18 students.
• A split kindergarten / junior kindergarten class
• A highly qualified, enthusiastic teacher with 20++ years experience.
• A fully equipped learning facility including a bright classroom, gymnasium and a newly renovated, modern playground.
• Hands-on learning activities.
• Organized lessons in skiing, skating and swimming.

Our class for 2012-2013 school year is now full but we are waitlisting children.  If we get enough interest, we would consider running an afternoon class.  Please contact our Administrator to talk about being placed on our waitlist at 403-288-1050.
 
To be eligible for our fully funded Kindergarten program, your child will turn five by February 28, 2013 / their birthday is before March 1, 2008. For our Kindergarten students, out of school is available through the Dalhousie Out of School Care program.

To be eligible for our Junior Kindergarten program, your child will be age four before September, 2012 / their birthday is before September, 2008. Junior Kindergarten is a tuition based program at $330 per month.
