The East Village is hosting its 2nd annual ‘East Village Street Fair’ (8th Avenue SE between 4th and 6th Street) in collaboration with Fort Calgary and The National Music Center to provide activities of celebration on Canada Day (July 01, 2012) for more than 12,000 patrons. We are excited for the opportunity to work together with our local culture centers, businesses and artists to create the new East Village.
The festival will have the elements of any great fair, music, street entertainment, artisan wears, kids activities, centers for conversation and more - a balanced mix of business and pleasure for the community and city alike - its a wonderful chance to see what Calgary's up to in this neighborhood and a great opportunity for locals to expose themselves and develop within their in the city, making connections and making friends.
